The ACTF sponsored the children’s television awards at the 2012 Australian Writer’s Guild Awards (the AWGIES), honouring Australian performance writers.
We congratulate the following winners:...
- For Animation, Ray Boseley (pictured), for the Flea-Bitten! Episode “Home Truths”.
- For Children’s Television-Pre-School, David Evans, for the Guess How Much I Love You episode “Follow Me”.
- For Children’s Television – Children’s Drama, Samantha Strauss, for the Dance Academy 2 episode, “The Second”.

My Place 1&2 - Picked up by KidsCo
My Place (Series 1 & 2) has very recently been licensed to UK based kidsnet KidsCo for their Eastern European and Asian channels. ... The two series of My Place are an epic television experience, taking viewers back in time from the present day to before white settlement in Australia in 1788.
